“For the 19th Miniartextil exhibition E lucean le stelle, realized by Arte&Arte in the church San Francesco in Como, I included the theme of astronomy in the idea of my installation Orbita di luce. A slightly tilted vertical axis connected the installation with the space. Fabric elements seemed to float weightlessly around this axis, creating an orbit of movement and light. When space and time are connected by the speed of light, distance becomes an unimaginable dimension.” (Jens J. Meyer)

„Für die 19. Miniartextil Ausstellung E lucean le stelle, realisiert von Arte&Arte in der Kirche San Francesco in Como, habe ich das Thema Astronomie in die Idee meiner Installation Orbita di luce aufgenommen. Eine leicht geneigte vertikale Achse verbindet die Installation mit dem Raum. Scheinbar schwerelos schwebten die Tuchelemente um diese Achse und erzeugten eine Umlaufbahn aus Bewegung und Licht. Wenn Raum und Zeit durch die Lichtgeschwindigkeit verbunden sind, wird Raum zu einer unvorstellbaren Dimension.“ (Jens J. Meyer)
